DoTeamSpace
is a software application for team collaboration and team works.
It is developed in Lotus Domino and can be deployed either in
Lotus Notes environment or on web.
With
DoTeamSpace, the team members can share their ideas and information,
post their questions and requests, and arrange their daily schedules.
DoTeamSpace provides project management tools for the team.
Designers can write their requirements in the DoTeamSpace for
developers and Testers can report the problems for developers
and supporters. DoTeamSpace also allows the team members submit
their timesheets in a single source, thus provide a management
tool for managers and team leaders to monitor the work load
of the team.
DoTeamSpace
has the following features:
Team
collaboration: Team members can share their thoughts and ideas
by creating Recent Activity documents. They can also record
their activities and daily objectives. Users can mark their
information either Public, which is for all team members to
share, or Private, in which case they can specify the members
with whom they want share the information.
Project
management: Project management tools include the Requirements
and Problem Reports. Designer can create requirements for a
new function or feature. After the requirements are created,
the messages are sent to the designated person for approval.
Approved requirements can be assigned to different developers
for implementation. When development is through, the testing
members are asked to test and verify the implementation of the
requirements. Testers can create problem reports to report the
problems they find. The problem reports can also be assigned
to specific team members for development and QA.
TimeSheet
management: DoTeamSpace allows team members to submit their
timesheet so the manager can monitor the workload of the team.
